What does one do on a sunny Sunday Afternoon, other than going to church .. go on The Island .. of course.
Yeah, I am skipping out on church tomorrow and going on a cruise up and down the Brisbane River, with 120 close work mates, all paid for : on the ugliest contraption I have ever seen in my LIFE ! but its a landmark go figure. Probably coz it's so ugly, it stands out.
Tis the old sand barge that used to dreg the river .. should be fun huh .. I am sure I will feel guilt ridden as we float past the temple several times over the 3 hours ..

It was alright .. really .. here people are very big on not drinking driving .. so there were plenty there that weren't drinkers for me to have decent conversations with ..
Also even though the thing we were on was ugly .. the Brisbane River isn't so ugly .. so we had lots of good stuff to look at :-)
and they had a great band!
